A 43 years, Chef Lalaina RAVELOMANANA is the most famous chef in Madagascar. His real international record, whose title of First African inducted into the prestigious culinary academy of France in 2010, make him an influential player in the emergence of Luxury Gastronomy on the Big Island.

With this 4th place, Chef Lalaina RAVELOMANANA spoke : “When you have the soul of a competitor, we are always sad not to be on the podium of a world competition. But when we see the smiles, pride messages, the positive thoughts that accompany our result, the result of our beautiful team from Madagascar, I tell myself that life gives us so much.

I may forget someone in passing in my thanks and I already apologize but there are so many of you who are with us..

Thank you to my two so deserving chefs, my associates, my family, my friends, the generous sponsors, our compatriots here and around the world, to the media, and to all those who have carried us so far.
