The most important activities during the Chinese New Year are :

4) Play the dragon dance and other festivities.

It's a time of reunion for the whole family.. That day, unmarried children and young people receive red and gold envelopes called hóngbāo. Indeed, red represents luck and prosperity in Chinese culture.

Chinese traditions are numerous and relate, among other things, to religion., to martial arts, in writing, to the music, to gardens and games. Religion is an integral part of Chinese life. It is very complex and entangles the arts of living, popular beliefs, religious philosophies and movements.

In China, the traditional festival of Chinese New Year (Lunar new year) corresponds to the longest and most important leave period. Traditionally, the celebration will last 16 days, from the New Year's Eve at the lantern festival (the fifteenth day of the Lunar New Year). The week from New Year's Eve to the sixth day of the Lunar New Year will be a public holiday.
