A single ATR-72 daily connects the capital to the other provinces of the island.

Between Tana - Majunga, there is a flight every sunday. There are now only two flights per week to connect Antananarivo and Nosy Be or Antananarivo-Toliara against a minimum of four previously. Once every fortnight for a Tolagnaro-Toliara-Tolagnaro flight. The Morondava destination has been totally abandoned. It is a real obstacle course to find places and especially flights to go to the other end of Madagascar.

The Tsaradia company still had five aircraft in 2020 including one under construction. The financial problems of Air Madagascar, reduce its ability to honor its commitments in terms of aircraft rental costs. Since the beginning of June, Tsaradia's domestic flights find themselves in difficulty with 15% of activities only for lack of equipment and personnel. Which does not even cover its fixed charges. The closure of the borders for a year and three months aggravates the case of the two companies. Tsaradia in private, records three million dollars in operating deficit.

Air Madagascar Board of Directors, in November 2020, has already spoken of an in-depth review of the synergy of the company with its subsidiary Tsaradia, especially financially. The current price of Tsaradia should experience a drop as demand continues to increase. The board announcement from last November suggested that a commission from Air Madagascar's fare should be paid to Tsaradia's coffers.

This is proving impractical for the time being given that there are no more international flights operated by Air Madagascar.. Can't this growing demand be reconsidered ? Air Madagascar's business plan has been awaited for months, as well as the name of its future general manager. The case between the Malagasy company and Air France forces Air Madagascar to pay 46 $ million. A search for an agreement is under consideration.
