New Minister of tourism for Madagascar to 1 million !

Service contracting between the Minister of tourism (outgoing), and the Minister of tourism, Transport and meteorology (incoming), has held this Monday 26 January 2015 the Ministry of tourism in Tsimbazaza.

Starting from 25 January 2015, under Decree No. 2015-030 appointing the members of the Government, the Ministry of tourism (Min Tour) and transportation and meteorology (MTM) have been the subject of merger. Thus, is hereby established the Ministry of tourism, Transport and meteorology (MTTM).

The Government in the context of the general policy of the State and the National Development Plan gives tourism the status of lever for development. Said fusion is precisely intended to allow 'tourism' to effectively play this role. Everyone knows the interdependence between tourism, transport and climatology. Also, is required the synergy between the actors of these three sectors while developing their own areas which have their own specificities.

Previously, the two merged departments each had a web site, which took its special attractions. The Ministry of tourism, Transport and meteorology will be now a single main web site with the URL address is www.transport.gov.mg. It certainly will be more enriched and will have a degree of utility increased to better serve the public by making it more accessible consistent information on the three areas concerned.

Biography :

Born the 07 June 1977 in Morondava, a University Professor and a mother high school teacher father, Ulrich ANDRIANTIANA is married and father of a small boy in a year.

Following his secondary education at the Lycée mixed of Nosy-Be, He obtained his baccalauréat in 1996. Then he continued postgraduate studies at the University of Tamatave of 1996 to 2001, which studies were crowned by a license and a master's degree in Economic Sciences.

Subsequently, He continued his training at the National School of Administration of Madagascar (ENAM) from 2001 to 2003 before starting a master's degree in development studies at the Institute of high international studies and development in Geneva, Switzerland, from 2008 to 2010.

It has also tweaked its knowledge and expertise through several formations, in political science, at the University of Geneva ; as well as in diplomacy and international relations, successively provided by the WTO, COMESA, the South Korean Cooperation and the Cooperation Pakistan.

An official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since February 2004, He has climbed all the echelons, support essentially economic diplomacy and development.

Consultant to the Economic Development Board of Madagascar, EDBM, as an Investment Officer in charge of Mines sectors, Tourism, Infrastructure and Textiles, Ulrich ANDRIANTIANA is also lecturer in international economics, economic diplomacy and international cooperation to the National School of Administration of Madagascar (ENAM) and the University Management Institute and Management (IUGM), Mahajanga.

He speaks the Malagasy, the French and English. It has a rich Associational life and he loves at the same time the sport while doing a lot of reading in his spare time.

Ministre de la Jeunesse et des Loisirs de Gouvernement d'union Nationale de Transition en November 2011 ; et à partir de septembre 2013, Il a assuré cumulativement la fonction de Ministre des Affaires Etrangères.

Depuis le 18 April 2014, Il est le Ministre des Transports et de la Météorologie du premier Gouvernement de la quatrième République de Madagascar.
