Tana 14 International Marathon&15 October 2017 : for the promotion of sports tourism in Madagascar.

An event at the initiative of the Malagasy Athletics Federation since 1988, the Organization of the International Marathon of Tana has been conscientiously entrusted to the World Trade Center Antananarivo (WTCT).

The 17th edition of the International Marathon of Tana will be held the 14 and 15 October 2017. In an effort to promote sports tourism in Madagascar, and support the environmental cause through the Green Day, the International Marathon of Tana is innovative and will bring many surprises.

To allow everyone to enjoy the pleasure of a sporting experience, collective and cultural unique, PUT it offers 5 events : The Marathon (42.195km), The Green strides (10km), The HandiRun (10km) and the Maratoon's (1.5km) and the new event: Corporate.

Five events are scheduled, to allow everyone to enjoy the pleasure of a sporting experience, collective and cultural unique. It is dumarathon of 42.195 km,the 10 km green strides,a race open to all,the handirun about 10 km to the people with reduced mobility,

the Corporate,the novelty of this year for companies and the maratoons,a family event over a distance of 1.5 km around the square of independence to Analakely. Runners from neighboring islands such as Réunion and Mauritius are announced this year, just like those from the Kenya and Ethiopia.

On the other hand, in order to pass a reflex green leaving the city breathe, the 15 October will be dedicated to the green day without traffic. For a day, the Department of ecology, environment and forests suggests d ’ borrow the non-polluting means of transport such as walking on foot and bikes. On their side, athletes can run pleasantly and safely through the city.

PUT it is an event of the Malagasy Athletics Federation since 1988, organized jointly with World Trade Center Antananarivo (WTCT), specialized in the promotion of culture and sports through the major events.
