Destination Madagascar with Air France

Air France now operates the France – Madagascar route with two weekly flights every Monday and Saturday. These flights depart from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) towards Antananarivo Ivato airport (TNR).

For this month of February 2022, the company replaces these Wednesday flights with cargo flights, as part of an adjustment to its flight schedule. Where, there are only two ordinary flights per week.

Other flights remain unchanged. They would operate the line as before. These other flights are, among others, that of Monday and that of Saturday which connects Paris and Antananarivo.

Air Austral for the Réunion – Antananarivo route

Air Austral connects Réunion – Tana with two weekly rotations in Airbus A220, with a capacity of 132 seats.

The company wishes to offer as soon as possible a third frequency per week in Airbus A220.

She also asked the ACM if it would be possible to grant capacity increases on the two weekly rotations., by authorizing them to switch to Boeing 787 with a capacity of 262 seats.

Madagascar Airlines and its flight program

Madagascar Airlines still operates the Paris – Tana line. He operates 02 flights per week ; every sunday and tuesday.

Ticket prices

With Madagascar Airlines, round-trip economy class flights always cost from 860 euros from Antananarivo for certain dates, and from 1.035 euros from Paris.

And from 852 Euro round trip with Air France. These are economy class fares booked at the last minute..

And the Air France company has made it clear that : “Rates shown may not be available at time of booking. Additional fees and costs may apply for optional products and services. »

As for Air Austral, ticket prices for Reunion Island – Madagascar flights start from 701 Euro one way – return in economy class.
