SAFER INTERNET DAY – ACT FOR A BETTER INTERNET – 9 FEBRUARY 2016
This world day is of Anglo-Saxon origin and it is named at the start “Safer Internet Day”. It exists since 2004.
Safer Internet Day is a global event organized by the European network Insafe /Inhope for the European Commission every year in February to promote a better Internet for young people. Celebrated in 110 countries in 2015, the Safer Internet Day has quickly exceeded the borders of Europe to become over the years an unmissable education for digital and e-safety.
In France, Safer Internet Day is organised, within the Centre Safer Internet France, Internet without fear, national outreach program in responsible uses of digital operated by Tralalere.Chaque year, It mobilizes hundreds of partners, is at the origin of events and educational activities throughout the territory and enjoys a strong media coverage.
