Vol Charter : Ten flights scheduled for Madagascar

The Ministry of Tourism and Crafts has announced around ten charter flights from Bulgaria to Madagascar this year. This announcement was made during the Holiday show & Spa International Tourism Fair held in Sofia (Bulgaria) the 13 to the 15 last March.

The Madagascar destination is increasingly popular with tourists from Eastern Europe.

As such, before the arrival of vols charter from Bulgaria this year, educational tours are planned soon. This is in order to introduce Bulgarian tourist operators to the diversity of Madagascar's tourist products.. A partnership between the two countries as part of training in the tourism profession was also part of the discussions.

Eastern Europe is one of the priority markets for the Madagascar destination. The promotional activities carried out in this market since 2019 led to a significant increase in the number of tourists from Eastern Europe, from 6 472 en 2019 to 19 440 en 2023.
