At the end of the Avenue de la libération, We come to the roundabout said "sacred wood".. The roundabout cut the Avenue Philibert TSIRANANA in two and opens on three branches of avenues : the Rue Jean Cadou (which leads to the school Nicoletta), the Amborovy road and the Avenue de la libération.

On the great Avenue Philibert TSIRANANA (departing from the Town Hall), We find left three buildings that serve as housing for teachers of State schools, inaugurated by President Philibert TSIRANANA in October 1962. Right, settled a hotel, small restaurants and bars very lively evening.

After the round point of "sacred wood"., right, We find an Orthodox Church which remains well maintained. And right next to, stands the Temple and the seventh-day Adventist School.

On the left side of the avenue, the buildings of the Notre Dame school, built by the spiritan Alphonse QASIM brother, occupy an important area. The first primary classes commenced in 1954. Over the years, the staff had expanded. En 1995, 2 400 students (primary and secondary combined) and 80 teachers have been recorded.

Neighbor of the Notre Dame school, College Saint Gabriel is composed, two tall buildings : one was built from 1955 by brother QUÉMÉNEUR and the other by the Knight company. A terraced fence separates the College Saint Gabriel of the Temple Protestant Calvinist "ZIONA VAOVAO" or "new Zion".. It is the largest temple of the city. It was built in 1960.

In front of the College Saint Gabriel, stands a building where is located the headquarters of the Regional Boeny Tourist Office (ORT Boeny). The ORT Boeny welcomes in its midst a showroom of crafts labeled "angaya"..
