There are a very large number of Lebanese dishes. Among them, chich taouk (Chicken marinated in some kind of aioli with lemon, then grilled), djaj mechwi (grilled chicken), samke harra (fish spiced with sesame cream), the kibbe (meat spread on a Board or in the form of bites), the luggage. ( meat and birgol made from Laban ) , Chich Barak ( meat paste ) of Turkish origin. These dishes are often accompanied by “Lebanese rice”, a mixture of rice and vermicelli. Another accompaniment, it’s the bread that varies depending on the region. The most common categories are Khoubz Arabi, le Markouk (kind of round bread), le Manakish (sesame and thyme bread, reserved for breakfast) and the Lahm This Ajine (kind of meat-based pizza, tomatoes and’ spices).
There are also many lentil dishes such as mjaddara and mdardara.
