Madagascar : List of airports open to international flights

Connectivity to and from Madagascar has resumed for a while. The Minister of Transport Rolland Ranjatoelina has indicated that five main airports in Madagascar can now accommodate international flights. And the airport Mahajanga did well.

List of airports open to international flights

The Ministry of Transport has indicated that five main airports in Madagascar can accommodate international and regional flights, namely :

• Antananarivo,
• Nosy Be,
• Mahajanga,
• Toamasina,
• And Antsiranana.

As for Mahajanga airport, it hosted its first international flight with the ATR 72 by Ewa Air from Mayotte on Friday 15 April 2022 .

Companies authorized to serve Madagascar

• Madagascar Airlines will provide the Paris – Tana link,
• Air France on the Paris-Tana line,
• For the company Air Mauritius, it will provide service to Maurice-Tana,
• And as for Air Austral, the company will provide the Reunion-Tana links, Reunion-Nosy-Be, Reunion-Toamasina,
• Neos Air on the Milan line (Italy) and Nosy Be
• Ewa Air sur les liaisons Dzaoudzi-Diego, Dzaouzi-Mahajanga, Dzaouzi-Nosy-Be
• Ethiopian Airlines for two cargo flights per week, for now.
