Ewa Air is ready to take off again for Madagascar

Following the decisions of the Malagasy State in relation to the total reopening of its borders from 5 March 2022, the company Ewa Air announces that everything is already in place on its side. Ewa Air is ready to take off again for Madagascar.

Full reopening of Madagascar's borders

Wednesday's Council of Ministers 23 February 2022 actually decided on a conditional reopening of the borders of Madagascar from 5 March 2022.

As part of this reopening, the government will impose certain conditions on entering Malagasy territory. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Transport will shortly inform about these rules and conditions.

All passenger airlines authorized to operate in Madagascar on departure and arrival are affected by this reopening.

Ready to take off again to Madagascar

The Mahoran company is ready to take off again for Madagascar.

Economic ties are strong between the two islands, the family and historical ties are perhaps even closer still.

Ewa Air filed a request two weeks ago to serve Tana while maintaining its historic flight plan with its other destinations.

On the other hand, negotiations have not yet started which should be done in the next few days.

Ayub Ingar, the director of the Mayotte company, however, says he is ready to take off again.
