The Ivorians lift the African Cup of Nations for the third time in their history, after the success of 1992 and 2015. Congratulations to the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire !

Miraculous victory of the Elephants

The Elephants came close to elimination from the start of the competition. Without Gasset, resigned, the elephants, miraculous to be in the round of 16, stood up. While waiting to embroider a third star on their orange jersey, Ivorians have promised to party until dawn. Without fear of waking up : the presidency had promised that on Monday 12 February would be a public holiday !
