Air Austral offers more flights to Madagascar. It will resume its direct flights between Sainte Marie Island and Reunion Island from 17 September 2022.

Air Austral : More flights serving Madagascar

Air Austral took almost all of these flights to the Big Island, notably from La Réunion to Antananarivo/Toamasina/Nosy-Be and Diego-Suarez.

The company will also resume its direct flights between Sainte Marie Island and Reunion Island from 17 September 2022. Indeed, the connection in the direction of Reunion Island to Sainte Marie Island will be operated every Saturday, and the Sainte Marie Island connection to Reunion Island will be operated every Wednesday.

The company also offers flights to South Africa, in particular to Johannesburg, every Tuesday from Antananarivo and Nosy-Be via Reunion..

• Réunion - Toamasina - Réunion : every tuesday and wednesday,
• Reunion – Nosy – Be – Reunion : every Monday, tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays,
• The Reunion – Diego – Suarez : every Thursday,
• Reunion – Sainte – marie : every Thursday.

Travel freely

Currently, there are no longer any health restrictions for all travelers wishing to go to Madagascar.

The antigen test which is administered to all passengers upon arrival in Madagascar, at the cost of 15 euros has been deleted. Also, the pre-departure PCR test has been removed.

Actually, the Big Island welcomes all travelers, vaccinated or not, from all countries.
