The 16th Summit of la francophonie in Madagascar en 2016

Designated by the Member countries of the international organization of la Francophonie — OIF-, Madagascar will receive the next meeting of the OIF in 2016.
The country will derive many benefits of this francophone Summit, originally held in 2010.

Madagascar : Since lends 2008
The Summit of la francophonie is a meeting that brings together all the countries speaking the French language, within the OIF, including Madagascar.
Every two years, the Summit takes place in a different country.
En 2008, the Red Island had been designated as host country for the edition 2010.
However, the big island was unable to host the meeting of OIF due to the crisis of 2009.
And yet, the preparations had already been launched through the construction of several infrastructure, such as the International Conference Center Ivato.
To receive the various visitors to mark, the streets of the capital were then cleaned and cleared.

New candidate to receive the 16th Summit of the OIF in 2016, Madagascar has been designated as host country, at the 15th meeting, held in Senegal from 29 to the 30 November 2014.

This time, the country is ready to everything possible to make the meeting happen as expected.

Take advantage of the Summit of 2016
Thanks to the 16th meeting of the francophonie, the big island has strengthen its links with the OIF. The organization also plans to conduct of many missions on-site the previous months the Summit.
These missions will be to assist the Government of Madagascar to develop the tourism sector, education and improve the protection of the environment and agriculture. These projects have been confirmed at a recent press conference given by the administrator of the OIF, Clément Duhaime.
