Greetings message and final speech

The President of the Republic Andry Rajoelina will address the Nation tomorrow evening, Friday, 31 December 2021. A message of greetings and a long-awaited closing speech.

What will he say ?

Among others, Public opinion expects new measures to be taken to curb the advance of the pandemic without endangering economic activities..

But the coronavirus is not the only problem plaguing the population this year.

Difficulties risk overshadowing the efforts made by the State during two years of health crisis when it comes time to take stock.

Structuring projects

Andry Rajoelina still has two years to carry out his projects. He will have to hold a unifying speech to bring the population around him and give hope to the population. The difficulties are temporary but the three years spent in power have allowed Rajoelina to send a message of hope, of encouragement and solidarity.

Kere in the South remains a big problem all year round. Here too the State provided long-term solutions by tackling the problem at the source.. A first in the annals.

More globally, the government has taken the option of focusing on structuring projects to resolve the problems. Major projects are underway, such as the construction of the Antananarivo-Toamasina highway in collaboration with Egypt., the Sahofika and Volobe hydroelectric power station to eliminate load shedding, 5a solar park projects 10 MW around regional capitals, water and pipeline drilling in the South.

There is also the development of the “green title” project., financing assistance, the construction of the new city, the establishment of the sovereign fund. Without forgetting the construction of a cable car line in Antananarivo to solve the traffic jam.

The president will undoubtedly expand on these subjects.

Other projects are expected in 2022 like a cement factory, sweets... The objective is to produce what we consume locally to counteract inflation and balance the trade balance.
