On the coast north west of Madagascar we see regularly two seasons that take place :

• From January to April is the rainy and cyclone season.
• From May to December, It is the middle of summer.

The hurricane season officially runs from mid-December to mid-April, but in fact, true cyclonic risks concern mainly only the month of January, February and March.
It is the low season called specifically "ASARA. (January to March and June).
