The 'Carnival of Madagascar' is an event that will bring together all the Malagasy. This will be done in Antananarivo from 21 to the 23 June, organized by the Ortana (Regional Office of tourism) and the association 360. They have decided to put their voices at the same pitch.

The aim is not only for the pleasure of partying, but above all to promote the destination Madagascar. Each region has its own Carnival. This time, It will be different. We will bring all the Malagasy, all regions in their diversity, with their traditions, their cultures and their carnivals.

We want to put forward during these three days music, dance, as well as the art of the street making the specificity of each region. We want to make the Carnival of Madagascar a major event known worldwide, a real annual event that will bring the big island one more notoriety. An event that will give to tourists from around the world, the urge to come and live this moment of communion with the Malagasy population in this great moment of celebration.

Malagasy art and heritage will indeed put in the spotlight during the three successive days of festivity. A fair of regions, that puts forward the crafts and specialities from all parts of the big island, is also provided for in the programme.

This Carnival programme also reserve us many surprises.

The organizers of spoiling advantage : "The gourmets will be spoiled.". Booths will be installed to expose the specialties of each region.

Coinciding with the feast of music, the first day will be unusually festive. A free concert of the best professionals in Malagasy music will take place on a stage in the middle of the Avenue of independence the 21 June.

Still in the same place, «a zumba party» will also close the event..
