Donia 2015 : Nosy Be will make his show
The dates of the edition 2015 the festival Donia were officially reported during a press conference Wednesday 26 March.
The Cofestin (Organizing Committee of the Festival of Nosy Be) announcement only the 22nd edition of Donia this year will be held from 20 to the 24 May next to Nosy Be.
Under the theme "Unity and solidarity for peace and development.", Donia 2015 promises a busy program.
In a few days, the 20 to the 24 may 2015, the perfume island becomes a gigantic scene to put the spotlight on the culture of the region.
The festivities will begin with an evaluation contest of General knowledge in collaboration with the Cisco Chief at the stadium Ambodivanio.
A beauty contest will be held to elect Miss Donia 2015.
This election is open to all young Malagasy women wishing to participate.
One of the must-see events of the Donia's Carnival during participants will have the opportunity to show their uniqueness and creativity often rich in color.
The son of the years, Donia has built its reputation and became one of the most important tourist and cultural events in Madagascar and the Indian Ocean region.
Artists from the nearby islands will participate in the animation of the festival : Jah D One, Baco Ali and side of Mayotte as well as Bef Sega of the meeting.
The french group Dodol Dolod and Aki Zizi of Switzerland will also be present.
Local artists will not be outdone.
They promise exceptional shows.
Young talents, heavyweights of Malagasy music, they will be many : One Lio, Jaojman, Dalvis, Tsanga Nolo, Jangarata, Jurisdiction Mena, Jerry Marcos, Stephanie, Yola Zanakanosy, Mourchid, Joel Rabesolo and Mehdi Mesalmeh, Eddy Renaud, Antonio, Freddy DS and Fandrama.
The Ministry of tourism, the transport and meteorology fully supports the Donia.
A partnership agreement was signed between the President of the Cofestin and the Director General of tourism to this commitment.
Emphasize that the Donia with other festivals this year, including the Carnival of Madagascar and the Festival of whales, are real tools for the promotion of tourism in Madagascar.
