Le Dr Syedna Ali Qadar Mufaddal Saifuddin, the great spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohras community, arrived in Mahajanga yesterday.

Representatives of the Malagasy government were present at the airport on his arrival, including the Minister of the Interior and Decentralization, Mr Justin Tokely, the governor of the Boeny Region, Mr Mokhtar Salim Andriantomanga, The Prefect of Mahajanga …… and other authorities of the city of Mahajanga.

The key to the city of Mahajanga was given to the spiritual leader by the governor of the Boeny region.

Thousands of members of the Bohra Dawoodi community cheered the religious leader upon his arrival.

To the program

The 53rd Daï Al Mutlaq of the Dawoodi Bohras community is visiting the big island until next Saturday.

On the program of his stay is the inauguration of the largest mosque of this community in Mahajanga which took place last night.

Many members of the Bohra Dawodi community from abroad and especially from different regions of the country made the trip to Mahajanga for the occasion..

You should know that the Dawoodi Bohras community has more than 6000 members in Madagascar.
