The veteran club of the University of Majunga sponsored by Hotel ★★★ Gourmet restaurant Coco Lodge Majunga
Come tonight Friday 22 may 2015 from 7 pm at the BAR NENE road Amborovy for an evening dancing karaoke with DJ European, animation and lighting the Cupid, the money from this evening will sponsor the club veteran of the University of Majunga.
The veteran of the University of Majunga club was created in may 2013 with aim to have still more cohesion and brotherhood between employees within the University, and with officials of other public institutions (departments and agencies related) at the regional and national level.
The club has an elected Executive Board :
– A Senior Coordinator
– A Secretary general
– A Treasurer
– Two auditors
– 5 facilitators who are divided by discipline
– Two leaders of our materials and heritage
At this time, the club has 40 people as active members.
The Club is composed of administrative and technical staff as well as teachers from the University of Mahajanga.
The members of the Club are convinced that sport is a motor of social cohesion. It allows you to federate teams and improve the general climate of the Organization. Perform an action together to achieve a common goal, help each other, encourage, are the values conveyed through sport that allow weld a group.
The practice of a sport also helps to assert, to have confidence in itself, to feel comfortable within a team.
In addition, to participate in this kind of meeting promotes exchanges between employees.
At the beginning, the joint basketball and athletics were practised disciplines, Foot Ball and petanque team have been added in 2014, and the Basket Ball lady was implemented this year.
The Veteran Club took part in the OMNISPORT tournament for civil servants commonly called ASOIMI (Interdepartmental Omnisports and Institutions Association) since the year 2013 whether those are at the regional level (Mahajanga) or at national level (2013 to Diego Suarez and 2014 in Tamatave)
As a prize list the club :
• is the double regional champion of the regional Omnisport tournament in Mixed Basket Ball (2013 and 2014) and reached the quarter-finals at the national level (2013 and 2014)
• is regional champion at the tournament celebrating World Women's Day on 08 March 2015 a Basketball Lady
• also obtained, in athletics, a gold medal during the national championship in Diego Suarez in 2013 and a gold medal and silver medals in Tamatave in 2014
At the moment we are in full preparation for the ASOIMI season 2015 which is divided into two distinct stages :
• the Regional Championship to be held in Mahajanga (Boeny region) the 13 June at the 21 June 2015
• National championship which will take place in Manakara (Vatovavy Sitto Vinany region) next September.
