The Parliamentary Assembly of la Francophonie consists of parliaments and interparliamentary organisations sharing the values of the Charter of la Francophonie. They are in sections. This is the advisory body of la Francophonie. The operators of la Francophonie shall implement the decisions taken by the Summit on the basis of their areas of competence. It's the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), TV5Monde, the Senghor University in Alexandria, the International Association of francophone mayors (AIMF).
The 42nd parliamentary Session of la Francophonie will be held in Antananarivo from 08 to the 12 July 2016. Madagascar will host approximately 720 persons including 400 parliamentarians in provenance of 80 Member countries of the Francophonie and their companions.
The Organization of 16th Summit of la Francophonie team is hard at work to ensure the success of this first important meeting before the Summit next November. The National Assembly is the lead of the Preparatory Committee. Following the establishment of the Senate, executives of this legislative institution have acceded to the said Committee for the smooth running of this international meeting. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is particularly on the ceremonial aspect.
The Organization guarantees the respect of the time limits at the level of reception facilities, Logistics, the accommodation and the safety device. A general simulation around the site deployment will take place from June 1.
At the level of the security commission, the establishment of the National command and Control Centre and the construction of the military Telecommunications Office of the State began. Each entity also began strengthening the operational capacity of its elements.
Regarding the accommodation, the standardization of benefits is launched, among others the respect of 80% criteria of the charters “quality” and “sustainable” and monitoring of hotel standards.

The parliamentary Francophonie has a network of women parliamentarians to promote greater participation of women in political life, economic, social and cultural, and this, both at the national level than in the whole of the francophone space.
