Madagaslam is a non-profit association that was created in 2006 in Antananarivo. It is meant to be inclusive of all slammers of Madagascar. The Madagaslam association ensures poetic animations at events where it is requested. Throughout the year, She organizes workshops, tournaments and scenes open in places the most various (On the picture : workshop in Prison). Membership in the association is by request of the person concerned. Membership terms : – An annual fee – Volunteer involvement in the life of the association active members must be at least five authors (5) poems in any language and have participated in at least three (3) association events.
IFM Analakely - Madagaslam starts a new season
Still as enthusiastic and radiant energy, the Slam of the city of the thousand found their quarters Saturday afternoon, at the french Institute of Madagascar (IFM) Analakely. Unifying and solidarity, the Madagaslam association, asserts itself as the spearhead of the slam on the big island, thus finds its faithful for this one-time event in downtown. They should be lovers of slam-poetry from various backgrounds to celebrate within the IFM chanting their States of mind, their vision of society and their love of words.
As in the usual, the rhymes and verses erupted once again on the terrace of the IFM library to this the opportunity. This being, the initiators of this event were keen to bring a touch of novelty for the new year. Traditional open stage will be now punctuated a workshop of writing every time, the time to initiate the laymen who want to wake up the Slammer who sleeps in them, but also the more experienced, to Exchange and share their inspiration around a table.
Thus, every time, This new formula is. 14: 00-15: 00, a confirmed slamers-driven writing workshop will be held, and will immediately follow the scene open until 17:30. Promising a year which promises just as laborious as the previous, the Madagaslam association, Fort of the seventh edition of its National Slam, will activate fervently to bring new talent and fans slam the country, but also overseas, to join it.
