Five airlines authorized to operate in Madagascar

Five companies authorized to operate legally

In an official notice dated 27 January 2026, Madagascar Civil Aviation (Acm) published the list of authorized companies. These authorizations concern public air transport according to well-defined categories. Only approved companies can legally operate in the territory..

For scheduled flights and on-demand flights, inside and outside the country, only one company has the necessary approval :

• Madagascar Airlines

Concerning on-demand flights, national and international, three operators are allowed :

• Madagascar Trans Air
• GS Aviation
• HFF Travel Airways

Finally, for on-demand flights within the Big Island, the ACM authorizes :

• Madagascar Fly Alliance

The aeronautical authority specifies that this list is not definitive. Managers will be able to update it according to developments in the sector. The audience, especially professionals, must refer only to duly accredited companies.

A strict reminder of aviation regulations
