Tuesday 18 January 2022, the European Commission has approved the grant rescue aid amounting to 20 million euros in favor of Air Austral, strongly impacted by the persistence of the pandemic and its consequences.

Air Austral et Corsair

On the side of the merger with Corsair, for now, the file is still under discussion between the Sematra, the main shareholder of Air Austral, in other words the Réunion Region and the State.
