The 22 to the 30 August 2025, The city of Majunga will vibrate to the rhythm of a colorful event and flavors : the 6ᵉ Edition of Seafood festival. It's not just a simple gastronomic meeting. A whole region is mobilizing to celebrate its maritime wealth, his vibrant culture and his festive spirit.

Majunga is the first fishing port in Madagascar, recognized for the abundance and quality of its fishery resources. Each year, more than 7 000 tons of seafood are exported, Not to mention those consumed locally. This festival is therefore the perfect opportunity to value Fishermen's know-how, fishmongers, Exporters and restaurateurs of the Boeny region.

LOMAY BE : When sport, health and party are only one

The Saturday 23 August, Majunga will move to the rhythm of LOMAY BE, A sporting and festive event open to all audiences. Organized with the Regional Athletics League, This strong event of the week invites everyone to activate in a good mood. Marche, zumba, foot races, Without forgetting the original Cafe boys' race, A classic of the local atmosphere !

Mais LOMAY BE, It's not just sport. It is a moment of conviviality where inhabitants, tourists and local actors meet. Where they live together a dynamic morning to celebrate the cultural diversity of the city of flowers.

This atmosphere continues in the evening with The official opening of the seafood festival. Where traditional aromas and rhythms are intertwined under the stars.

High closure : Tourism evening

The great final will take place the Saturday 30 August, with an exceptional evening at Vatobe. Baptized “Tourism Evening”, This great initiative of the Majunga tourist office will bring together tourist operators around a festive moment, elegant and tasty.
