Produced in collaboration with the GIZ, an event environmental support program, This work of art is signed Bruno Decorte, an architect of international repute. Beyond the original aspect of this stele - flanked by two giant horns of zebu-, its location in the heart of the protected area of Tsinjoriake makes it a notable curiosity to visit in Madagascar.

Ideally located on the RN7, the stele of the Tropic of Capricorn will benefit not only to tourists, but also to hoteliers who are more likely to settle nearby. GIZ and the regional Office of tourism of Tuléar hope this project propel the region, and the protected area of Tsinjoriake -in the stele – to the top 10 the most visited places on the big island.

Classified NAP (New protected area) en 2012, Tsinjoriake covers a vast territory ranging from the Table Mountain to the edge of the Onilahy River. Extended on near 6000 hectares, This sanctuary of nature has been defined with the aim of sustainable tourism. Countless circuits have at the same time was open to hikers. Routes leading to the mountain from the Table to the circuits of the caves, the landscape is breathtaking. Beaches and coves remained wild enthusiasts are invited to join the peninsula Sarodrano, surrounded by primary forest.
