Soma Beach in Majunga : the project of the Presidency for Mahajanga is running !

The President of the Republic Hery Rajaonarimampianina launched, in Mahajanga, the beginnings of the work of the infrastructure development in the Boeny region.
"Make a large international tourist pole Mahajanga.".
This is the wish announced by the President of the Republic to the population of Mahajanga, large coming, at the launch of 'Soma Beach., Saturday 30 last August.
The Soma beach project,is to build an esplanade on the beach of the tourist village,is well underway.
Its cost is estimated at seven billion ariary and it will consist of a range of recreation and sports,Special for beach with an area of 1 500 m2. The project will be completed within eight months.
"The objective of this project is the development of tourist centers and the tourism to Mahajanga." The expected benefits will be the tripling of the numbers after the realization of this project,both at the national and international levels. It is a backbone of the dynamism of the city.,has said the PDS,Harden Tia Solofamanga.
The coast,from the edge of the sea to Mahajanga to the tourist village,2 600 long m,then from there to the Zahamotel and to the Grand pavois(2400 m),also will be renovated. But the more interesting will be the new port infrastructure,a marina,built in the tourist village. Ships and boats from Nosy be and Anjajavy,as well as other destinations,will be able to dock there directly.
It should be noted that the Minister of State for the Infreastructures,equipment and management of the territory,RIVO Rafik,has conducted a tour of the presidential project sites,last Sunday.
On this occasion, several infrastructures have been announced. Namely, the rehabilitation of roads, the strengthening of the protection dike, creating places of attraction and games.
Thus, the President of the Republic launched the beginning of the EIIP of lasting work of 30 days for 1000 people for sanitation of the city.
The work involves the dredging of canals with a length of 24 km, to avoid frequent flooding during hurricanes.
"The goal is to see a clean and attractive city" and also an improvement of source of income for the population.
And to unite the diverse population of the city, of the rehabilitation work roads referred to as "Fananana iray" or common property, will be on the programme, among other things the Sotema until Antanamakoa, or at the City Hall, and red rocks in the hospital.
For the development of Sport and youth, the President of the Republic announced the creation of a new covered Stadium 2500 places. The courthouse will be renovated to demonstrate the existence of a State of law and the equality of citizens and the respect of the laws in force.

On the economic side, the presidential delegation travelled to the edge where the Boeny Region economic fair held.
