July 2012, the Vanilla Island organization association was created to develop the tourist area of the Indian Ocean.
Being a member of the World Tourism Organization, the association is supported and developed in partnership with seven tourism offices and committees of the islands of the Indian Ocean zone. Among them are the Madagascar National Tourism Office -ONTM-.

The continuity of actions already undertaken and the achievement of concrete results in two areas, namely air service and visa issuance, are the main objectives that the new president Didier Robert has set : “I undertake during my mandate to continue all the projects made, designed and validated so that they can be brought to fruition.”
