Tsingy de Namoroka : soon a new safari camp

The Tsingy de Namoroka National Park is located in Soalala, boeny region, i.e. 221km southwest of the town of Mahajanga. It constitutes one of the greatest particularities of the Boeny region.

An ambitious new tourism project is about to see the light of day in its surroundings, offering a unique experience to nature and adventure lovers.

Tsingy de Namoroka, a real treasure of the Boeny region

This national park is home to highly endemic flora and fauna species.. It includes six ecosystems to name only the grassy savannahs with incredible baobabs in a dry forest sheltering the Tsingy. Among other things, we find there, 102 species of birds including three species such as the Malagasy grebe. There is also a significant number of bats, including 21 species, thanks to the presence of numerous caves.

In addition, 31 species of reptiles, 544 species of plants including 364 endemic to Madagascar and 10 mammal species are listed in Tsingy de Namoroka National Park.

The camp will be open from mid-August to November, with an extension planned in 2025. This Safari Camp will feature five private tents each with luxury furnishings and outdoor living space for visitor accommodation.

This “Safari Camp” is not just a new place to stay, but also a project that could serve as a model for balanced tourism. And combining economic development and environmental preservation.
