The 18 June 2025 last, Air Austral and Madagascar Airlines have signed a codeshare and special spa price agreement. This partnership marks a turning point in their commercial cooperation. It aims to modernize links and offer more choices and flexibility to travelers.

Now, Malagasy travelers can borrow Air Austral flights under MD number. They more easily access cities like Antananarivo, Beeso Beaso. Reunion also becomes a door from the start to long-haul destinations like Bangkok or Johannesburg.
