This article to introduce you to the hotel’s gourmet restaurant 3 Star Coco Lodge in Majunga.
The restaurant has the same name as the hotel.
Well-known ★★★ hotel in Majunga, Coco Lodge offers gourmet and varied catering.
Our chef Noël has, to 49 years, long experience as a chef and he has a perfect mastery of French cuisine, seafood and more recently Lebanese cuisine.
For Lebanese cuisine Noël followed training 10 days in Antananarivo at the L’Oriental restaurant and we have the necessary spices with L’Oriental, who is therefore our spice supplier.

Every Friday night, we offer an invitation to the tasting with a gourmet à la carte menu, with different appetizers that introduce you to our cuisine.

Snails with homemade parsley garlic butter
Foie gras with onion jam and seasonal chutney

Sandy : Chickpea puree with sesame sauce and lemon juice
Moutabbal : Grilled eggplant purée mixed with sesame paste and lemon juice.
Tabouleh : Parsley salad, tomato, fresh mint, onions, Cracked wheat and lemon olive oil.
Labneh : Strained yogurt served with olive oil and dried mint *garlic optional
Fattouche : Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, Mint, green onion, radish, toasted pita bread with lemon and lemony olive oil
Kibbeh : Fried minced lamb meatballs mixed with wheat and cracked onions, stuffed with minced meat.
Falafel : Pan-fried beans and herb croquettes served with tahina sauce.
Sawdetdjej : Marinated chicken livers sautéed with lemon and butter.
Lahem Meshwi : Meat skewers specially prepared with oriental spices and grilled over charcoal, served with pita bread, Hummus and fries.
Shawarma : Thin slices of marinated roast meat, or chicken served with pita bread, sauce and pickles.
And what about our desserts… but it is true that in Madagascar, we have the best chocolate in the world...
Profiterole, chocolate mousse or fondant, fondant heart of course for the fondant
Coconut flan or crème brulée
And the famous Lebanese baklawa. Baklava is oriental mille-feuille ! A successive layer of filo pastry and butter, layered with a mixture of dried fruits, all spiced with orange blossom or rose … a wonder !
