What do you think of the opening of the Paris – Mahajanga direct line? ?

As already announced, Madagascar Airlines will offer direct flights on the Paris – Mahajanga line by the end of the year. Meetings followed one another to prepare the opening of direct Paris-Mahajanga flights planned for the end of the year.

Mahajanga will receive per week no less than 250 passengers of the wide-body Madagascar Airlines indicated the Governor during his meeting with tourist operators in the region on 22 Last September.

All stakeholders agreed to set between 210 to 500 euros per person for a stay of six nights with half board in a hotel in 2 to 4 stars.

Combination of flights for the Paris – Mahajanga line

Currently, Madagascar Airlines offers flights between Paris and Mahajanga by combining its international flight and its domestic. Indeed, passengers will travel with Madagascar Airlines from Paris to Tana and then they will be with Tsaradia to Mahajanga. The combination of these flights is from 1 115 Euros round trip. Note that these flights are subject to conditions, for information only and excluding delivery costs.

Reminder, Madagascar Airlines provides the Paris – Tana link with two flights per week. Et sa filiale Tsaradia operates 3 weekly flights on the Tana – Mahajanga line.

Free visa for stays of 15 days or less

Now, for stays of 15 days or less, passengers to Madagascar no longer have to pay the visa fee.

However, a fee of 10 euros for border control formalities remains to be paid.

Actually, foreigners coming to Madagascar for a period of 15 days or less will only have to pay 10 EUR Instead of 35 euros to obtain their residence visa.

The Ministry of Tourism communicated on its page that “If the visa remains compulsory and can be requested on arrival, the cost becomes reduced”. Until now, the costs to be paid for shorter short stays were 35 EUR, an amount that remains due for stays of more than 15 days. For stays of one to three months, the cost of the visa on arrival is 40 EUR.
