Didier Denamur nous a rejoint depuis le 20 December 2020, et il reste avec nous jusqu’au 03 January 2021 pour assurer une cuisine gastronomique midi et soir, y compris les soirées de réveillon.

Que savons du fameux saint sylvestre ?
La fête du nouvel an trouve son origine à Rome. The night before January first, the Romans had a long meal which allowed them to wait for the arrival of the new year. According to tradition, the greater the number of dishes served during this meal, the more prosperous and abundant the year would be. This tradition spread to the rhythm of Roman colonization.
Et St Sylvestre ou Sylvestre était un Romain. Il fut le 33ème pape chrétien qui occupa le saint siège pendant près de 22 years (314-335) under the reign of Constantine the Great (306-337).
It was during his reign that Christianity was recognized as the religion of the Roman Empire with the conversion of Emperor Constantine the Great.
Il est décédé le 31 December 335. Et il fut enterré dans le cimetière de Sainte-Priscille sur la Via Salaria.
