The number of international airlines serving Madagascar continues to increase.

Resumption of flight Reunion – Fort Dauphin and Tulear

After the reopening of Ivato Antananarivo airports, Mahajanga, Nosy Be, Antsiranana, Sainte-Marie and Toamasina to flights from Turkey, Mayotte, Maurice, Ethiopia and France, the resumption of regional flights connecting Toliara to Reunion and Tolagnaro to Reunion is now authorized.

Yesterday's Council of Ministers, approved the return of flights connecting these two cities in southern Madagascar with Reunion.

Actually, eight airports in Madagascar are currently accessible to international flights with the reopening of Fort Dauphin and Tulear airports.

In relation to this recovery, the President of the Republic insisted on the strengthening of measures against the trafficking of national wealth.

Resumption of flights between Madagascar and South Africa

After several months of suspension, Airlink will also resume flights from South Africa to Madagascar. This resumption is imminent, communicated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which reports the meeting between the head of Malagasy diplomacy, Richard Randriamandrato and the South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa and 06 July 2022.

Following yesterday's Council of Ministers, this recovery is just waiting for the signing of a memorandum of understanding to prevent the fight against the trafficking of national wealth.
