Madagascar : More international flights

All international airports in Madagascar are open for greater openness to the world. This month of September, 60 vols dont 8 charges, have been authorized by the Ministry of Transport and Meteorology. Eight destinations (France, Maurice, Ethiopia, Turkey, Kenya, Italy, Mayotte, The meeting) are served via the eight international airports of Madagascar.

To date, nine airlines serve Madagascar, namely Air Madagascar, Air France, Air Mauritius, Air Austral, Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Neos Air and Ewa Air.

Meeting – Madagascar

Madagascar expands its connectivity. Air Austral announces the reopening of its flights from Reunion Island to Tulear and Fort Dauphin. The company offers 10 to the 24 October 2022 with a weekly frequency. The company has announced that a flight is thus planned on Mondays 10, 17 and 24 October. It will be operated by Airbus A220-300, it will first land in Tolagnaro, before reaching Toliara then returning to Reunion.

Flight schedules beyond the 24 October are awaiting validation from the Malagasy authorities, depending on the company.

With the effectiveness of this flight, Air Austral has a total of seven service points to and from Madagascar. Addition Toliara and Tolagnaro, the company already serves Antananarivo with a daily flight. Its planes also land in Nosy Be up to four times a week.. And in Toamasina three times a week, in Antsiranana once a week.

Also, starting the 17 September 2022, Air Madagascar will operate direct flights between Reunion and Sainte Marie Island.
