The new edition of Madagascar celebrating will take place on 29 and 30 April 2017 at Mulhouse Zoo, one of the oldest zoos in France. The newest addition to the zoo, “Dream”, a lemur with turquoise eyes, as rare as it is endearing, will be the star of the event this year. The Mulhouse zoo celebrates Madagascar during 2 days with games, photo exhibitions, shows, meetings with scientists.
According to the magazine “Full life“, this little lemur from Madagascar was born on 23 last February. He lives with his mother “Jaune” who has taken care of him since his birth. On the occasion of Madagascar celebrating, zoo visitors will be able to witness the first public feeding of the two lemurs. This event will allow you to talk with the keepers and learn more about this endemic species in Madagascar..
For the sixth consecutive year
The Mulhouse zoological and botanical park will highlight Madagascar, its biodiversity, its culture and the animal and plant conservation actors who intervene on the island and in France, noted Full life. Very involved in lemur conservation, the Park wishes to draw the attention of visitors to the unique biodiversity of Madagascar .

Fun activities and village of associations which will take you to meet 13 conservation actors in Madagascar, including the Mulhouse Zoological and Botanical Park, among other things, readings of the famous Malagasy tales, learning valiha, traditional Malagasy bamboo instrument, and the discovery of traditional games like Katry and Fanorona. Finally, A conference debate, on the theme of the conservation of Malagasy wildlife and sustainable development in this region, will be organized and open to all free of charge on Saturday 29 April at 7 p.m. in the Court of Chains room, in Mulhouse
The Mulhouse zoo attracts more than 400 000 visitors per year. Attendance which allows the Mulhouse park to assert its place as the leading tourist site in Haut-Rhin and third site in Alsace.
