Madagascar Airlines is officially the Malagasy national company

Madagascar Airlines obtained yesterday Monday 17 April 2023 its Air Carrier Certificate as well as its operating license. It officially becomes the Compagnie Nationale Malagasy. Congratulations to Madagascar Airlines, from the entire Coco Lodge Majunga team !

Madagascar Airlines which, so far, had to be content with exploiting the assets of Air Madagascar and Tsaradia, therefore now has its CTA, an approval valid for two years.

She obtained from the Malagasy Civil Aviation Authority, their air carrier certificate and operating license. Indeed, the company officially becomes the Compagnie Nationale Malagasy. It will now be able to operate as a national company in its own right.. Actually, it can freely operate and ensure all Malagasy air connections.

Its new destinations

Thanks to these internationally recognized certifications, Madagascar Airlines will serve the eight main national airports of the Big Island in addition to the regional and European lines already acquired.

Madagascar Airlines will set off in the coming months to reconquer Asia and ten new destinations in the coming years.

For these services, the national company had already advanced the dry lease acquisition of two aircraft, on which the State has already provided a sovereign guarantee of 20 million dollars in the Finance Act 2023.
