Women's Rights Day : National celebration in Mahajanga

Women's rights day is celebrated each 8 March. This year, It will be marked by five days of activity in Mahajanga – Madagascar. The theme chosen is : "For all women and girls : rights, equality and empowerment ”.

A national event in the spotlight of women

In Mahajanga, The celebration will take the form of various cultural activities, educational and community. Although the 8 March falls this year on Saturday, The city will not fail to honor this event. La Première Dame Mially Rajoelina, will also be present to sponsor this national celebration. This year, Women can enjoy a festive and symbolic atmosphere in Mahajanga. And this in other regions of the country that will hold their own celebrations.
