Madagascar is at the top of the ranking of Island Games

Madagascar is at the top of the ranking as of 28 August 2023 island games, with 110 medals collected including 56 en or, 25 in silver and 29 and bronze. Congratulations to all. Alefa Madagascar.

Overall ranking of island games :

• Madagascar in first position with 110 medals, whose 56 en or, 25 in silver and 29 and bronze.
• Réunion is in second position with 92 medals, whose 37 en or, 30 in silver and 25 and bronze.
• In third place is Maurice with 100 charms obtained including 25 en or, 36 in silver, and 39 and bronze.
• Seychelles is in fourth place with 32 medals including 2 en or, 16 in silver and 14 and bronze.
• The Maldives are fifth with 11 medals won, whose 2 en or, 3 in silver and 6 in bronze and 25 and bronze.
• The Comoros are in sixth position with 7 medals, whose 1 en or, 1 in silver and 5 and bronze
• Mayotte ranks seventh with its 14 medals, whose 6 in silver and 8 and bronze.

Taekwondo : Madagascar at the top of the ranking

After three days of competition, Taekwondo events at the Indian Ocean Islands Games ended yesterday. On the 24 gold medals up for grabs, Madagascar won 13. The Big Island is thus at the top of the ranking in this discipline. Total, the country won 24 medals including 13 en or, 8 in silver and 3 and bronze.

Madagascar : Second in the ranking in Judo

All Judo events ended Monday after 3 competition days.

Madagascar is second in the ranking in Judo, behind Reunion. Total, the Big Island harvested 21 medals in this discipline. On the 16 gold medals up for grabs, the Malagasy Judokas won 5. Madagascar also won 6 silver medals and 10 bronze medals.
