What do we celebrate ?

This is to mark the breaking of the fast observed during the holy month of Ramadan., who started on 11 March 2024. This celebration can be followed by exchanges of wishes, pastries, tea and small gifts.

Eid prayer takes place early in the morning. And this is carried out in a mosque, or outdoors. During this prayer, this allows us to gather more faithful. It must be common.

Traditionally, believers put on new clothes, give each other gifts and pay alms, the zakat ul-fitr, intended for the poor. Its amount is subject to various estimates.
