By taking all the sanitary measures, the Hotel ★★★ gourmet restaurant Coco Lodge Majunga remains open. Dinner this Friday 22 may : Small salted lentils – coco Lodge Majunga.

As you know, every Friday night, We offer culinary theme evenings : French specialities, Lebanese, Malagasy, ... Always a good opportunity to finish the week well and discover our international cuisine.

And this Friday, like one Friday out of two, Coco Lodge opens its kitchen to a cook who comes to share his passion for taste and good with our Chef. This Friday it's Jean Pierre Manuel, known on Facebook as Alain Casy or Le Cupid.

And for sausages, we chose beautiful morteaux, who come to us from Gérard Artisan Le Chair-Cuitier at the Croisée des Saveurs.

A classic of French cuisine on the menu : « Petit salé aux lentilles ».

From the 14th century, the Auvergnats made a habit of marrying the lens with a set of pieces of pigs preserved in brine. The dish quickly went around the region and won all the votes.

The Lens accompagne avec gourmandise les viandes braisées, like pork.

Quant au « small salty » ou « demi-sel de porc », it's salted meat, dry salt or brine. This is what gives it a melting texture, which is similar to candied meats. (At the Golden Bell).
