CORSAIR OPENS A NEW AGENCY IN COMBANI : A STEP TOWARDS MORE PROXIMITY

This last Tuesday 22 October 2024, Corsair has opened a new agency in Combani to better serve its Mahorese customers and strengthen its presence on the island. As the airline market evolves, this initiative raises questions about the company's ability to meet travelers' expectations and boost competition in Mayotte.

The Corsair Combani agency was inaugurated in the presence of the Indian Ocean Regional Director. This opening marks a strategic turning point for the airline, which aims to bring its services closer to its Mahorean customers. By facilitating access to its services, Corsair intends to increase ticket sales and strengthen its presence on the island. According to Jules Perreau, Corsair Regional Director, this new agency responds to a growing demand from customers from the center of the island and the west coast. With the increase in flights in high season, this initiative could prove decisive. However, the question remains : will the bet be a winner for the company in the face of a constantly evolving market? ?

Meeting the needs of travelers and businesses

The Combani agency illustrates Corsair’s desire to adapt to the expectations of its customers while developing its business. As Perreau points out, even in the digital age, human contact remains essential for many travelers. On the other hand, the use of the new A330 NEO aircraft allows Corsair to increase its cargo capacity, thus providing opportunities for local businesses. Daniel Cordina, president of ADL FLY, hopes for an increase in 20 to 30 % in the number of customers thanks to this opening. The competition generated by this new agency could also favorably influence the prices of plane tickets, an aspect eagerly awaited by the population. It remains to be seen whether these ambitions will come to fruition in the coming months..

This new agency in Combani could also strengthen links between Mayotte and Madagascar, notably the town of Majunga, by making travel easier and improving air transport options for travelers between these two territories.
