Travel conditions to and from Mayotte

Dans le cadre de la réouverture des lignes aériennes entre Mayotte et Madagascar, the prefect of Mayotte communicated this 13 April 2022 travel conditions to and from Mayotte.

Travelers must have a complete vaccination schedule and present the following documents during check-in and boarding :

• Complete vaccination schedule,
• Résultats d’un test PCR négatif de moins de 72h ou d’un test antigénique négatif de moins de 48h.

Et les voyageurs qui ne disposent pas d’un schéma vaccinal complet ne peuvent voyager vers la France que s’elles relèvent d’un motif impérieux. Et ils doivent présenter les pièces suivantes lors de l’enregistrement et à l’embarquement :

• Justificatif d’un motif impérieux de déplacement,
• Résultats d’un test PCR négatif de moins de 72h ou d’un test antigénique négatif de moins de 48h,

• Déclaration d’engagement sur l’honneur à respecter un isolement de 7 jours et à effectuer un test à J+7.

Voyages en provenance de Mayotte vers Madagascar

Travel conditions to Madagascar are now less restrictive.

Le test PCR à l’arrivée est remplacé par un simple test antigénique.

The authorities have also removed the obligation of confinement upon entry to Madagascar, except for passengers who tested positive for Covid-19.

If the result of the antigen test is positive, the passenger must confine himself to the hotel or to a care center approved by the State for a period of at least seven days, until you test negative for Covid-19.

Nevertheless, pour les voyageurs non-vaccinés au départ de Mayotte, un motif impérieux est nécessaire puisque celui-ci sera contrôlé pour le voyage de retour vers Mayotte : motif impérieux d’ordre personnel ou familial, motif de santé relevant de l’urgence ou motif professionnel ne pouvant être différés.

Les déplacements à caractère touristique ou pour des congés ne constituent pas des motifs impérieux.
