COCA-COLA EXCLUSIVE RETURN TO MADAGASCAR

Coca-Cola lovers can now rejoice in the return of this drink, which will once again be available in large quantities on the Malagasy market. For the moment it is only available in its version of 350 ml in polyethylene terephthalate or PET bottles. Habibo becomes the exclusive official bottler of Coca-Cola in Madagascar.

Since February 1st 2024, Habibo Beverages has started production, distribution and marketing of products Coca Cola, Fanta and Sprite on the island. The formats 350 ml and 1,5 L of these iconic drinks will now be produced locally, marking a significant change in the supply of Coca-Cola products to Madagascar.

The decision to entrust exclusive bottling in Madagascar to the Habibo Group demonstrates Coca-Cola’s long-term vision. This strategic direction highlights a commitment to the Malagasy market, without losing sight of the objective of adapting to local specificities and maintaining lasting partnerships.

Indeed, the group is also in mass distribution since it took over the Shoprite department stores, now become Super U, thanks to the partnership with this major French retail operator. By the way, since yesterday 07 February 2024, U store shelves began to offer Coca-Cola drinks.
