As part of strengthening the education of autistic people, free training took place at the Hotel ★★★ – Restaurant Gourmand – Bar – Swimming pool – Event and conference organizer – Tour operator and rental of 4×4 and quads – COCO LODGE MAJUNGA.
Training in psychological support for parents
This time, the education sector is involved in training. Around fifty private and public EPP educators participate in the training over two days.
Autism Madagascar chaired by Mbolatiana Raveloarimisa provides psychological support to parents, siblings helping and accompanying a person with autism under the age of 16 years in Mahajanga. This was the high point of the President's statement yesterday, during the training launch speech which took place at Coco Lodge Majunga.
Support for families and strengthening of educators through adapted educational tools is part of component II among the three intervention components of Autisme Madagascar.
This explains the presence of Chief Cisco of Mahajanga 1, Elyson Jocelyn, during the opening ceremony yesterday. “Home is the first school, the second socialization is school. Parents and educators need to be on the same page in raising children. We must be the pioneer in education. This type of training is not a collection of knowledge, it must have an impact on children. Training is the key to education”, underlined Chief Cisco.
Autism Madagascar
Autism Madagascar is a non-profit association created 5 years. It was born from an initiative of some parents of autistic children and Malagasy volunteers.. And Autisme Madagascar works in concert with the Hafakely Project and Open Society Initiative For Southern Africa (SUNDAY).
His vision is that all children are born equal and enjoy the same rights. The aim is to raise awareness and educate society about autism..
Autism is not a disease but a condition. It has been classified as a pervasive behavioral disorder. (TED) Since 1980. It manifests as complex neurological disorders affecting brain functions.
Characteristics to consider in an autistic person are qualitative and quantitative alterations in communication and social interactions and the existence of restricted interests.
The causes or origins are little known. But global research is advancing avenues such as genetic, vaccines, environment. The number of autistic people around the world continues to increase.
