Air France : Aprecisely the flight program

Air France replaces its commercial flights every Wednesday linking Paris and Antananarivo with cargo flights, for the month of February 2022. This is as part of an adjustment to its flight program.

Reminder, the Air France company operated the France line – Madagascar with 3 weekly flights every Monday, Wednesdays and Saturdays. These flights depart from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) towards Antananarivo Ivato airport (TNR).

Flight schedule adjustment

The airline Air France is replacing its commercial flights on Wednesdays between Paris and Antananarivo throughout the month of February 2022 couple of cargo flights, as part of an adjustment to its flight schedule.

She sent a message yesterday, 21 January 2022 at 5:15 p.m. to all passengers who had booked for flights on Wednesdays in February : « Your reservation for the Paris – Antananarivo flight, AF934 of February 2022, had to be canceled and we are unable to offer you another flight ».

This message from Air France, bearer of bad news, fell into the mailboxes of passengers on Paris – Antananarivo flights who had booked for flights on Wednesdays in February.

02 weekly flights

Other flights remain unchanged. They would operate the line as before. These other flights are, among others, that of Monday and that of Saturday which connects Paris and Antananarivo. A source from the 2424.mg newspaper with Air Austral reported this news.

Operational constraints

In his message to passengers, the French airline speaks a constraint to continually adapt one’s flight program. She explains this adaptation by “ the evolution of the situation linked to the coronavirus (Covid-19) which strongly impacts our operations ».

According to this source, « due to the impact of the Covid crisis, it updates its flight program according to operational constraints ».

She indicates that “ a certain number of flights are canceled or replaced by cargo flights ». This is how it is for the whole month of February, « the flights Wednesdays in the Paris – Antananarivo direction have been replaced by cargo flights ».
