Air Austral : A flight plan optimized for winter 2024-2025
AIR AUSTRAL : AN OPTIMIZED FLIGHT PLAN FOR WINTER 2024-2025
Air Austral is implementing a thoughtful flight program adapted to the needs of its passengers for the coming winter season.
Air Austral flight program adapted to traveler demand
Air Austral continues its ambitious recovery plan with the announcement of a tailor-made flight program for the IATA winter season 2024-2025. The airline company, determined to return to financial balance by the end of the fiscal year 2025, has taken strategic measures to meet the expectations of its passengers. By strengthening frequencies on popular lines, Air Austral improves connectivity and offers more travel options. For example, the connection between Réunion and Bangkok will benefit from a third weekly frequency during busy periods, thus responding to the increase in traffic to this popular destination. Similarly, the Réunion-Nosy Be line will have a fifth frequency during school holidays. This allows travelers to better discover Madagascar.
The company also maintains a strong presence on its long-haul routes. This with up to 11 weekly flights between Reunion and Paris, and 7 frequencies between Mayotte and the French capital. At the regional level, Air Austral propose 16 flights per week between Reunion and Mayotte. And until 30 weekly frequencies to Mauritius, thus guaranteeing solid service to these destinations.
Strategic partnerships for enhanced connectivity by Air Austral
To maximize travel options, Air Austral relies on strategic partnerships that expand its network. Thanks to an agreement with SNCF, 18 French cities and Brussels are now connected to its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub, thus facilitating connections for passengers. In addition, schedule alignment with Thai Airways allows travelers to connect to more 15 destinations in Asia, including Japan, Singapore and South Korea.
In Africa, partnership with South African Airways paves the way to cities like Cape Town and Durban. While in Europe, the collaboration with Air France gives access to more than 40 destinations across 17 country. On the other hand, the Ewa Air subsidiary of Air Austral offers 5 direct connections from Mayotte to several destinations in the Mozambique Channel, including Madagascar, Comoros and Tanzania. Thanks to these initiatives, Air Austral demonstrates its commitment to improving its customers' travel experience while consolidating its position in the airline market.
