The Comoros – Madagascar line fell into oblivion for a while. Since the suspension of flights that were operated by Madagascar Airlines, we hear more about this line. Thus, many in the Comoros and Madagascar are wondering, what about ?
The Malagasy authorities have remained very discreet about the reasons for the suspension of this line. The resumption of flights between the two islands requires authorization from the Council of Ministers and that, for the time being,"the conditions are not met" indicated the Malagasy Government.
How to reach Madagascar from Comoros at the moment ?
It is possible to reach Madagascar from Comoros by sea with the shipping company ACADIE which connects Comoros and Mahajanga. It took over the maritime line connecting the two islands since last October.
You can also reach Madagascar by air with Ewa Air by stopping in Mayotte before landing in Mahajanga.
