Long-awaited news, Corsair will resume its wings to Madagascar from Paris-Orly and Saint-Denis airports in Reunion from 27 June 2023. The company schedules two weekly flights to and from these two airports to and from Antananarivo.

The CEO of the French company Corsair, Pascal de Izaguirre announced on his LinkedIn account the great return of the company to Madagascar from 27 June 2023. It schedules two weekly flights from Paris-Orly and Reunion which it will operate throughout the year..

Corsair is delighted to once again resume its service to Antananarivo. “This service is part of the history of Corsair. Our teams are delighted to meet their customers in this destination., and in particular the local populations to whom we wish to offer quality trips at competitive prices“, says its CEO Pascal de Izaguirre.

Reminder, the company deserted the Big Island for the last time in February 2019 with an Airbus A330-200. She had lost her traffic rights between Saint-Denis and Antananarivo in 2018, and was also forced to abandon its Paris-Madagascar line after 21 years of presence on the Big Island.

Flight schedule

Corsair flights between Reunion and Antananarivo are scheduled every Wednesday and Saturday from 28 June 2023. And they are staggered every Tuesday and Saturday from 10 October, with the same hours departure at 12:30 p.m. from Saint Denis for arrivals at Ivato at 1.20 p.m. and departure from Ivato at 5:00 p.m. for arrivals in Saint Denis at 7:35 p.m..

According to the details, flights will be provided throughout the year and operated by the latest generation A330neo aircraft. In his press release, Corsair reassures that with the A330neo, “customers will be able to enjoy the comfort of an ultra-modern and less noisy cabin in its class, with a WIFI connection throughout the flight”. The company says it also carries “special attention to comfort and quality of service, on the ground and on board.”
